Set in a giant snow dome close to Auckland City, it features 50 centimeters of real powder snow, three lifts, a terrain park for snowboarders and freestyle skiers, and a separate learner area. This is a great day out no matter what the weather is doing outside.
Get one free drink to start you off, however you are limited to only 3 cocktails during your time in the bar. This is not so you are less tempted to see if your tongue will stick to one of the ice sculptures, but because at such extreme temperatures your body acts similar to if it was at high altitude. The whole ice experience last’s 30 minutes, but we think any longer than this and you will start to get too cold.
